About Me

Dr. Goldberg was named a Top Doctor in the specialty of Gastroenterology by Baltimore magazine in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Dr. Goldberg is a gastroenterologist with clinical interests in diseases of the pancreas and biliary tract. His expertise includes advanced therapeutic endoscopy and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) to treat disorders of the pancreas and bile ducts such as acute and chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, biliary complications of liver transplantation, pancreas divisum, common bile duct stones and other causes of biliary obstruction.

He also has interests in endoscopic mucosal resection of large polyps in the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, as well as esophageal and enteral stenting.

Dr. Goldberg runs the capsule endoscopy program at the University of Maryland. He uses this technology along with single balloon enteroscopy to manage diseases of the small intestine.
